2020 is the year of the ‘Black Lives Matter’ movement and the year of diversity and inclusivity, looking at how many ethnic minority models have worked for big brands and fashion magazines. It’s amazing to witness how the meaning of beauty is changing.
Diversity has always been an important value in my life, I’ve always been attracted to what’s different and unique.
My muses aren’t real but they can leave a message. For this reason, I created them with African facial features.
I imagined the 3D fashion editorial as a group of sculptures in a Greek theatre: everyone in a white marble, dressed in the same way, but the muses are different and, therefore, catch your attention.
Aſter these images, there are two other images showing the same scenes rendered in an explosion of colours, through 3D digital pointillism, made by millions of polygons.
Now everyone is made of the same material, but you can still recognise their beauty.
